You may have noticed that things look a bit different than the last time you logged into Dragon Metrics. We’ve spent months redesigning the platform to make it much easier to use. Today’s launch also comes jam-packed with new and improved features we think you’re going to love too.
Let’s dive in, shall we?
Instantly compare any two domains to see which keywords your competitors rank for that you don’t in a Keyword Gap report. You can also see which keywords you both rank for in a head-to-head Keywords in Common report.
Get content ideas straight from Google SERPs! We automatically grab all content found in Featured Snippets, People Also Ask, and Related Searches on the SERP for all tracked keywords. Perfect for topic generation!
By popular demand, it’s finally here! You can now do keyword research on Naver (South Korea). Enter any keyword to receive hundreds of related keyword ideas from Naver along with search volumes. (Only available to Standard plans and higher)
This one goes up to 11! Well, at least that’s how many search engines Dragon Metrics now supports.
You can now track keyword rankings on Alibaba’s Shenma mobile search engine in China. Anyone doing ecommerce in China will want to take note.
See which rich results are showing up on the SERP for each keyword in Research.
Instantly see the top 50 competitors for any site without needing to track any keywords.
Drill down to the most important keywords with new sorting and filtering options in Research.
We now support 395 city-level geolocations for Baidu keyword research. Hooray for local SEO in China!
Ranking research, keyword research, and link research have now been combined into one completely redesigned tool.
Want to see the performance of only the URLs and keywords you’ve optimized? Now you can with our new Optimized URLs report! Perfect for monthly reports to show progress on what you’ve done.
We’re now using the same robots.txt parser that Google itself uses, so you can rest assured that Dragon Metrics will be crawling your site with the same rules as Google.
We’ve completely redesigned the app’s navigation, with many reports being renamed and moved around for greater logical clarity.
The first thing you’ll likely notice is the redesigned navigation on the page. While the new layout is far more intuitive than before, it is quite different and make require a quick re-orientation.
Goodbye daily limits! The new Research product utilizes a new and simplified credit system.
Dragon Metrics looks even better on tablets and smaller screens — Joy!
You may see some reports loading a bit snappier than before. We’ve made a ton of smaller under-the-hood improvements to make things run even more smoothly for you.
We also used this release as an opportunity to squash a number of small bugs hiding out the system and loads of smaller improvements that might not be worth an individual mention here.
There’s so much more packed into this update, we can’t list it all here. We’d be happy to walk through any of the changes with you in an online session. If you haven’t scheduled one for a while (or ever), now is a great time to take a look at what you may have missed.
